So many of my friends are truly jealous that I can be here in Yellowknife at this remarkable CMA AGmeeting focussed on the Social Determinants of Health

As a Sir Michael Marmot http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Marmot groupie … I can’t tell you how wonderful it was to be with him at dinner Sunday night and hear his address Monday am….

The Minster of Health’s remarks and scrum were truly grumpifying …. I can only hope she stayed to hear Sir Michael speak…..

We are so grateful for the leadership of Dr.Haggie and the incoming President Dr. Anna Reid from Yellowknife…

They make us proud… and inspire us to do more to close the gaps in health status of Northerners and First Nations, Inuit and Metis ….
