Black History Month Student Essay Competition offers students who will be applying to a Canadian university or college for the 2013/14 academic year the chance to be awarded one of three scholarships ($3,000, $2,000 & $1,000) for their essay on how black Canadians have helped to define Canada’s diverse heritage and identity through their achievements and contributions to the broader society.
Essays must be no more than 750 words and can be submitted from now until December 17, 2012. Full details are available at www.rbc.com/essay.
