
I was thriled to be invited to our friends Rae and Debra Lake at The Great Lakes’ here at Thunder Bay Beach.
They had gone to Prince Edward County last weekend to buy the wine (Huff Estates Pinot Gris and Clos Jordanne Pinot Noir).
We were happy to contribute the smoked whitefish from Lepage Fish in Lafontaine and the Gianetto’s spiced cottage cheese (Midland) and Evelyn’s crackers. And the appetizers…
Our Pea/Mint soup was a huge hit !!! Fresh peas from dubeaufarm.com in Perkinsfield and mint from outside our back door

The Lake’s BBQ’s beef tenderloin with verde sauce was truly delicious along with Deb’s spectacualar potato salad and Jean Marmoreo’s delicious corn salad.
The humidity seriously challenged my Maple Pavlova …

But the raspberries and wild blueberries, from Dubeau Farms, and ice wine whippped cream… saved it !!!
We ended with Stubbe chocolate liqueur cups with the rest of the Inniskllin ice wine.
What a tremendous evening here at the Georgian Bay looking out to the sunset ….
