We want to thank everone who took the time today to participate in our initial consultations ‘Towards a Comprehensive Food Policy for Canada’!
We apologize for any inconvenience you were caused with the technological hiccups but the feedback we have received so far is that people felt our little experiement was well worth the try! It was important to hear from all across Canada: from St. John’s to Victoria with both urban and rural represented. All involved spoke about the need to break down silos and ensure that all voices and perspectives are heard if we are to get the policy right.
Already people have been asking for the documents, conferences and summaries discussed today. You can send them to us at bennec8@parl.gc.ca so we can post them to our website.
Thanks again for all those who took part! We look forward to continuing the conversation with you in the very near future!
